I'm looking to get on a boat for this up coming season. I currently work on boats out of San Pedro California and I've also crab fished on east coast. I've got a lot of exsperinace on the water and want to be able to have a chance up in Alaska. I currently work for The San Pedro bait company and I also work on the native sun out of 22nd street landing. I know how to sew net, pick fish and am accustom to long growling hours. Truth is i have not worked on a boat before. I grew up on a 200 acre farm in Oregon and i know the importance of being reliable and understand that the works isn't done until its done. Able to work cooperatively with people, i don't complain and could stay focused on the big picture, which is to kick ass and make everyone as much money as possible during the short time we have. Hey I'm 21 years old and grown up on the coast of florida all my life. Never worked on a boat before but been an avid fisherman since I was a kid raised going fishing nearly every weekend. Ive worked construction through the florida heat and rain the past 4 years while taking night courses and graduating with my degree in the spring. Although ive lived in the florida weather all my life ive visited family up north almost every winter since i was born and prepared for the work conditions. I am hardworking and work well with others. I believe in the harder i work the luckier I get. Im ready to learn something new and put in the work to get the job done.

I'm 24, I do tree work currently. I was a wildland firefighter a couple years ago. I'm used to hard work and long hours. I prefer a physical job. I'm good with ropes and knots because of my current job. I've worked in wilderness situations so I'm used to the lack of luxury.

I have experience as a deck hand in Bristol Bay as well as in Southeast salmon fishing. I grew up in Kodiak Alaska so I have been submerged in the fishing world for as long as I can remember. I began as a quality control employee for Silver Bay seafoods then got hired as a deck hand on F/V Tugidak. I am experienced with making up fish tickets as well as handling brailers, cleaning fish holds, tying up to larger vessels, and cooking on the boat. I have a great attitude and love the Bristol Bay environment! Please contact me ASAP: 907-942-1012 41 in great shape. Mechanically inclined, wench, cranks etc...can work with most tools.. common sense. Have experience on boats: shrimp boats in the golf. Currently working in Akutan, last year was in Kodiak. GREENHORN ALASKAN FEMALE, seeking deckhand position. To paint a picture of myself & strength abilities. I played 4 years of college soccer, I have completed 2 half marathons within the last three years, and I have worked within the north slope Area between deadhorse and point Thompson 3/3 rotations 12-16 hour days. I am comfortable to remote locations, tight shared quarters, and outhouse facilities. I am an excellent cook. I hold my own very well. I was raised in a military family with ALL brothers no sisters. 6 years of Tae Kwon Do, No abuse of drug or alcohol problemsN and I am rather easy to get along with. I worked in the construction field so I am not offended by any wild jargon. I have a tough skin, I follow directions, fast hands, and a quick learner. I love fishing, and have spend most of my summers on a boats fishing but never to the commercial level. I have previously experience the Bristol bay season as a guest. So I am very familiar with what is expected of me and for how long. If selected I am available to till the captain calls end.

I will be roadtripping to Alaska from Texas. Im a 26 year old male looking for a greenhorn position in Bristol Bay. I was a greenhorn shining in kodiak for the end of the 2016 season and I've been dying to come back to Alaska. Preserving the culture of wild caught salmon is something that I highly advocate for. Get fish farms out!! If that means that I get my get my hands gills deep for what I believe in while seeing the beauty of the open sea then but me on board. I've heard stories about Bristol Bay and I really want to be on the 2019 season to expand my skills in fishing. I'm q hard worker with an awesome attitude and the lower 48 doesn't compare to what I can accomplish in Alaska as far as being a man who participates in what I believe in.
