​Packing list for the Bristol Bay gillnet season

Clothing

• 8 t-shirts
• 5 sweats
• 8 pairs socks
• 8 pairs underwear
• 2 regular sweatshirts
• 2 fleece sweatshirts
• 2 sets long johns
• 2 pairs blue bama sock (keep your feet amazingly dry!)
• 2 beanies

Ask your captain whether or not he does laundry on the tenders and if his boat stays dry on the inside.

 Other Gear

• 1 light grunden pants (I think light is more comfortable, heavier warmer)
• 1 heavy grunden rain coat
• 1 light rain coat
• 1 roll rain gear hole patch (Good to have)
• 1 pair extra tough boots (I buy 1 size bigger when using bama socks)
• 1 pack orange atlas 620 gloves (captain may have them for crew)
• 1 pack glove liners
• Sleeping bag
• Waterproof bag for clothes (The North Face Basecamp Duffel)
• 2 boxes baby wipes (Quick and easy way to shower)
• Sea sickness pills (If it is your first time)
• Tooth brush, tooth paste, etc...
