Non-Smoking Crew needed for small aluminum boat in startup operation. Need nets built( can show how), and plenty of boat preparation to do. Be outdoors type. Pay has potential to increase dependant on performance, and is a percentage. Skipper experience last 8 years fishing Nush, Naknek River, Ugashik, Kvichak. Know how to keep a boat floating and safety minded. Looking for someone a.s.a.p.

Jack, is your boat a skiff?

No. It is one of the old Shore aluminum boats. - just not one of the big yatches around these days. Complete new drive train from prop to fuel lines, fuel tank, to engine. Boat still needs work; Not flush deck but getting a slide together. And we use ice. Best day last year was 15K in Naknek. So we are average. Good market w/o catch limits.
Looking for guys who want to establish themselves in the bay and build up other prospects in the industry. Have a land base in Naknek planning to develop to expand fish production and so guys who have a brain, determined to make more of a job than slaving, and stick through the hard start.

If you are looking for a deckhand for upcoming 2019 Bristol Bay Red Salmon Commercial Fishing season. If nothing materializes for me for next two weeks, I maybe available for hiring.

I have more than 40 years experience as a deckhand, know the bay-been fishing with the top fishermen during my comeback years, and now at the age of 59 years old, I am willing to go back to the bay, and continue to teach any greenhorns.

I am still in excellent good physical shape, ready for long hours of fishing.

Currently, residing in Anchorage, Alaska ready for hire.
